During their time at our childcare center, your child will move through each stage of cognitive, social, and physical development in a safe and social environment. Our teachers develop activities based on the children’s unique needs and interests. OECC offers programs for children ages 6 weeks to 10 years. Our classrooms cater to each age group’s specific needs, interests, and abilities.
Explorers: 0-24 Months
In the Explorers Room, infants and toddlers interact with a calm, but stimulating environment. Children safely explore their surroundings under the guidance and supervision of our nurturing and knowledgeable teachers.
Discoverers Ages 2-4
Childcare should allow children to make choices, learn independence, and engage in social activities under the guidance of loving and experienced teachers. With these goals in mind, our Discoverers Room is bright, cheerful, and filled with learning possibilities, including: Songs Stories Finger Plays Games These activities are all designed to make language development come to life and help your child learn more about themselves, their classmates, and their community.
Investigators: Ages 3-5
Everything your child does and learns in these formative years builds the foundation for success in formal education and in life. Children are encouraged to participate in activities under the guidance and supervision of our experienced teachers. In this area, children learn to be creative and investigate important branches of education, including: Technology Art Math Science Literacy Social and motor skills By exploring these fields, we will prepare your child for kindergarten.
