What do you look for in a new teacher?

That’s a difficult question to answer. Obviously looking after children requires a caring, nurturing disposition. However, we strive to go one step further by hiring teachers who understand child development.

Lastly, learning to teach is a process. Therefore, one major qualifier for becoming an OECC teacher is an ongoing drive to study the latest research on child development.
